Our Sister Went To Be With Jesus

Our dear sister Dena went to heaven to be with Jesus
And we know there's no greater place than she can be,
But her passing has left such a deep void within our heart
Leaving a tremendous wound which no one else can see,

We were sisters God joined by His two heavenly hands
Blessing and filling us with His divine and precious love,
But fifty four years wasn't enough time to spend together
Till He called you away to His heavenly kingdom above,

You were special to us in everyway dear sister of ours
And without you our life will seem so empty and bare,
But just as God promises we shall meet in heaven again
Where the circle of our love will go unbroken up there,

We will always love and miss you sweet precious sister,
But death won't separate our everlasting love for you,
For we'll always keep it buried deep inside of our hearts
Until God calls us to heaven to be reunited again with you,

You were our sister and friend who we were so proud of
A sister who was there for us when we most needed you,
And our sisters love can never be broken by time or space
For a sisters love will endure and remain steadfast and true ,

We once heard it said that God cries for those left behind
For it is the living who must live on to mourn and grieve,
But we know Gods Word is faithful and true in what it says
So we place our faith and hope in Him and choose to believe,

One glorious day the skies shall open like a giagantic scroll
When Jesus shall return for those which are alive and remain,
And our eternal life will begin with Him and you upon that day
As in awe we gaze upon Jesus and your dear sweet face again,

So though for now we must suffer grief and sorrow as Jesus did
It's in missing you that causes our tears to flow with great pain,
But we thank God for His promise of eternal life that He gives
And for the knowledge we'll see each other face to face again,

Death is not the end as it's the beginning of eternal life above
And we know you didn't die because now you live forevermore,
You only left our presence from this world we live in here below
As you stepped into eternal life through Gods heavenly door.

We will always love and miss you Dena.
And we will hold onto and cherish every
sweet memorory of you in our hearts forever.
